Shaker Group operates nationwide across multiple branches, each carrying production-critical workloads. Their existing approach to disaster recovery was fragmented: recovery procedures were manual, undocumented, and tested inconsistently across sites. The absence of clearly defined RPO and RTO targets meant that in the event of a disruption, recovery timelines were unpredictable. Legacy infrastructure added further operational risk — failover could not be validated with confidence, and the business had no assurance that service continuity objectives would be met under real incident conditions.
